Joanna Garcia is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery on The CW sitcom Reba, García's leading role as Hope on the short-lived series, Welcome to the Captain, and as Megan on the new CW drama Privileged.

Joanna Garcia is a fresh face to our Fall TV lineup, but the fun García' brings to her quirky role on Privileged is what got us hooked on the show from the first episode.

Joanna Garcia later starred in the ABC sitcom Better with You before it was cancelled due to low ratings in 2011.

There seems to be a bit of all of us in her bumbling incidents with the rich and famous, and her spark is what will keep us coming back for more every week... :)

I just watched the movie myself and thought it was a great plot. I watched her when she was on Reba and she was great on there, she has great comedic timing. I love Joanna Garcia, she is adorable and a great actress. I watch her show Priveleged its an awesome show and she is so appealing. She sorta looks like Sarah Michelle Gellar, there is something about her that makes me think that. The movie was very good, and I like the ending --- it was well done. I hope to see Joanna in more movies, I think she will eventually make it to the big screen, bc she has the acting abilities to do so.

I gotta say, for an made for TV movie, the Initaition of Sarah is pretty good. With all the other "horror" and "scary" movie crap out there this should have be put in movie theaters. The special effects may not be all that great, but it's still got a nice plot and twist to it, and doesn't ruin a single bit of it. I especially appluade the actors' performances and I've become a bit of Mika Boorem (is that spelled right?) fan after seeing this. And true the movie may not be all that scary, but it adds a great feel to the whole Halloween theme. I've never seen the original film at all, but after seeing this I've been dying to!!!! The Initiation of Sarah is one of the greatest made-for-TV movies ever and should've been put on the big screen. ABC Family really delivered this time.

Its cancellation was announced, but then a shift in power at Fox and outcry from the fans led to a reversal of that decision and the making of a third season, after which it was canceled again. Reruns on Adult Swim drove interest in the show up, and the DVD releases did quite well, selling over 2.2 million copies in one year, which renewed network interest. Family Guy returned to production in 2004, making four more seasons (for a total of seven) and a straight-to-DVD special, Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story. The show celebrated its official 100th episode during its sixth season in autumn of 2007, resulting in the show's syndication. The show is contracted to continue producing episodes until 2012.

"Boston Public" is one of the best Shows on T.V. right now. "Public" has excellent writing, acting and a great cast. David E. Kelley is certainly the best writer in T.V. and it shows here as on his other shows, "The Practice" and "Ally McBeal". When it comes to the cast Sharon Leal is great as "Ms. Sudor". She is alone worth watching the show. "Boston Public" is an ensemble drama though so it would be unfair not to mention, Chi McBride as the principal, Loretta Devine as "Marla Hendricks", Fyvush Finkel, Jessalyn Gilsig, Anthony Heald and others. Debbi Morgan is great when she shows up as "Superintendent Marsha Shinn." "Boston Public" reminds me a lot of the great director Robert Altman's movies "The Player" and "Nashville." "Boston Public" has a lot of characters leading, supporting and secondary and always multiple story lines, four or five per episode, most Dramas have only two or three. Overall "Boston Public" is great T.V. and worth watching.

The action,the actors,the situations,the whole story line its all good!! And now that its gone there is a void left unfilled in my soul. They took it off the air because of poor ratings!I can't believe that people didn't like this show-I mean that MANY people!

I have written letters to the TV station pleading with them to put the show back on.

But back to the show itself! I really enjoyed how the actors really came together and played their parts well.This show was packed full of action too!Although not all the fighting was that real looking.And I like how the show had a funny side to it too.There were some pretty funny parts in the show if you ask me. But I wish the show had focused a little more on the lives of the actors-not just mission after mission.Maybe a little romance or a sad, heart ripping death or near death scene.

I still wish they had ended the show series with a graceful ending instead of just showing re-runs.You know what really burns me up inside though??Is that I didn't even think of recording the whole series!!I mean they only put 7 episodes on the air and ran them twice each-I could have gotten the whole series!I do have one of the episodes on tape but I can't bear to watch it for I fear I'll become to overwhelmed!But if I had the whole series on tape I would feel better.

Mr Apatow is putting irony and wit into US comedy that's so sharp it could slice every blade of grass in your lawn by exactly half! Respect to the man whom a few years ago now, made it possible for The Larry Sanders Show to stay on the air. Larry was the Spinal Tap of television. I'm sure, as with anyone who caught this show, I don't need to say it was nothing short of genius. And in regard to the above website where Judd Apatow becomes 'Artie' and Mark Brazill becomes that 'corporate cock sucking network exec' who came from upstairs to regurgitate the same 'sickly crap' over and over until all you had on your hands was a smelly office and dud sitcom to clean up!

It's also worth noting that this episode in question of The Larry Sanders Show is the one when Artie lands 'one' on the networks hound face, literally. Knocking em for 6. Mark Brazill (among many others) fell uncomfortably in the late 90's and are all being nursed back to health by Domino's Pizza sponcerers, Walmart and KFC... But, the jokes on him. A fantastic show that ended way too soon.
This was a brilliant tv show. All the episodes were truly interesting. The family felt real, some good issues were talked about. A large one was Teen Parent hood, even though The Parents adopted Ben, you still saw Ricky struggling to do what was right for his son. I think this show could have gone several years why it was canceled with out them trying to promote the show more. I think it would have ended up among family shows like the Walton's, Growing Pains and even the still running 7th heaven.

I think a lot of 7th heaven fans would have watched this show as well, they were simlar both had a lot of kids, and was about a family when all the dust is settled at the end. Obvisouly the large difference was that all of the kids the Becketts had were all adopted, excluding the child they would have had if the show had not been canceled. Of Course all the animals also made it exciting.

I wish they'd at least bring the 2 season out of DVD. However its fantastic that some of the cast have gone on to do bigger and better Project the biggest probably being James Marsden .

It is known when the CW announced its list of series pickups for next season -- Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill, America's Next Top Model, Smallville, 90210 and Supernatural -- one title was conspicuously absent.

The series, featuring Garcia as a quirky girl who winds up as a live-in tutor for two spoiled sisters in a Palm Beach mansion, has foundered in the ratings, drawing an average 765,000 viewers to date this season and landing below the Top 100 broadcast TV series, according to Nielsen Media Research.

Joannagarciaprivileged_l The show's producer, Rina Mimoun, wrote a cliffhanger into last night's episode to prod the CW into picking up the show, though my experience has indicated that rarely forces networks to keep airing a series if they lose confidence.

In the end, Garcia's character is shown getting a call from a longtime flame as she's lying in bed next to a new man -- what will our spunky heroine do?

And will the CW let any of us find out?

It should go without saying that seeing the renewal of every other major remaining drama -- outside of the network's black-centered shows and its disastrous, outsourced Sunday lineup -- is not a great sign. Despite being one of The CW Network's leading shows, the long-running series ended rather abruptly, w/ its finale airing on Sunday, February 18, 2007.

Joanna Garcia, Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery is Brock and Reba's oldest daughter, who initially is looking forward to her senior year of high school before learning that she is pregnant. She marries her boyfriend, Van Montgomery, and they move in with Cheyenne's mom, Reba. Cheyenne gives birth to their daughter, Elizabeth, after going into labor on graduation day. She can be somewhat air-headed and self-centered, but she can also be kind-hearted. She is very sensitive, especially when she is insulted (mainly by Kyra, her younger sister). She goes to college to study to be a dentist. Cheyenne later helps out at a homeless shelter, improving her shallowness greatly. When she comes to the realization that she is an alcoholic, she's inspired to discontinue doing dentistry for her major, and, instead of that, decides to study counseling for those affected by alcohol and drugs.

The Reba show is set in the suburbs of Houston, Texas, and stars Reba McEntire as a wisecracking single mother Reba (Nell) Hart, whose dentist ex-husband Brock (Christopher Rich) has left her to marry young, ditzy Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman) after an affair with her. Ironically, though Reba sees "B.J." as her nemesis, Barbra Jean considers Reba her best (and perhaps only) friend. As the show progresses Reba slowly and painfully comes to the conclusion that despite all her efforts to hate her, she likes Barbra Jean and considers her a friend. During the show's first season, Reba's oldest daughter, then high school senior Cheyenne (Joanna García) became pregnant. In the pilot episode, Cheyenne married her baby's father, fellow high-schooler Van Montgomery (Steve Howey), a dim-witted but well-meaning football player. Van moves in with them, as his own parents kicked him out for standing by Cheyenne, and comes to view Reba as a surrogate parent (something Reba is very comfortable with). Reba's other two children are Kyra (Scarlett Pomers), an intelligent and rebellious teenager who shares Reba's sarcastic streak, and Jake (Mitch Holleman), a young boy just trying to sort through the mess of his family. Since the fifth season, Van and Reba have been real estate partners. The show strives to comically but realistically portray the trials and tribulations of family life in modern society.

The show was canceled when The WB Television Network and UPN merged into The CW Television Network. However, in an 11th hour move on May 17, 2006, The CW renewed Reba with a 13-episode order, reportedly to fulfill a syndication contract worth $20 million. In November 2006, The CW announced that the show would be paired with 7th Heaven, Sundays at 7 p.m., beginning later that month. Reba encores are scheduled for Sundays at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT, with a new episode at 7:30 p.m. Reba became the top-rated sitcom on the CW, also surpassing the dramas Supernatural, One Tree Hill, and Veronica Mars. The final episode aired on February 18, 2007.

...When Peter goes to the pharmacy to buy c0nd0ms, he realizes he has forgotten his wallet. Mort Goldman, the pharmacist, offers to open a tab for him; Peter quickly begins spending unnecessarily. For instance, he buys eight cases of ipecac so he can hold a vomiting contest with Brian, Chris, and Stewie; although Chris technically wins, all four vomit in a scene lasting 56 seconds. Soon, Mort calls in Peter's debt of $34,000. In desperation, Peter seizes upon a picture of Mort's son Neil, who is infatuated with Meg. Peter offers to sell Meg to the Goldmans to settle the bill, offering a contract; Mort agrees, but everyone is shocked to discover that Neil has started dating another girl named Cecilia. Meg becomes unexpectedly jealous and hunts desperately for a boyfriend to make Neil jealous; she ends up settling for Jake Tucker, who only wants her to buy him things. She finally tells Neil that she wants to be his girlfriend and signs the original contract to prove her sincerity; the Goldmans quickly put her to work as a slave plowing a field in their front yard. Brian finds a clause in the contract stating that it is null and void if Neil cheats on Meg, so Peter convinces Lois to dress as Mystique and seduce him at a fake X-Men convention. Neil tells Meg that he only wants her to be with him if she wants to be with him, tears up the contract, and quickly reconciles with his previous girlfriend. Meg's relief quickly gives way to renewed jealousy.

Meanwhile, after Meg had complained that she was tired of babysitting Stewie while their parents went out, Lois interviews candidates for a new babysitter, including a couple of Portuguese fishermen (Santos and Pasqual, the two men Peter hired to help him fish) and a Gloop (from The Herculoids). Stewie instantly falls in love with Liddane, an attractive young applicant. Liddane already has a boyfriend, however, and in a jealous rage, Stewie clubs him with a tire iron, duct tapes his mouth shut, and locks him in the trunk of Brian's car. After Liddane (Joanna Garcia) scolds Stewie for touching her breasts, he drugs her and tells Lois that she invited friends over and that they were "smoking merry-joo-wanna and hero-ween! And they were all taking eczema and touching each other!". Lois fires Liddane, who departs tearfully after giving Stewie a mixtape. Stewie regrets his actions and pursues her, but she has disappeared. Two weeks later, Stewie realizes that he forgot to release her boyfriend from Brian's trunk, and mildly assumes that he is dead.

Welcome to The Captain premiered on February 4, 2008 airing on Monday nights at 8:30 PM Eastern Time on CBS in the United States and CTV in Canada. On CBS it was a mid-season replacement for The Big Bang Theory. but the show was halted after its fifth episode aired due to poor ratings. The final nail in the coffin for the show was when Fran Kranz signed on to the upcoming FOX series, Dollhouse, effectively canceling the CBS sitcom. On May 14, 2008, the series was officially canceled.

JoAnna García, was born in Tampa, Florida, where Garcia was raised by her mother Lorraine, a Spanish-American homemaker and former elementary schoolteacher, and her father, Cuban Jay García, a gynecologist. She has one brother, Michael García.

JoAnna Garcia first started performing at the age of 10 when she auditioned for a local theater production and landed the lead. JoAnna García' parents put school first and she continued to feed her passion by acting in local plays. She was the homecoming queen at Florida's Tampa Catholic High School.

In high school, JoAnna García was discovered by Nickelodeon and starred for two seasons as Samantha on Are You Afraid of the Dark?.
